Honorable Mention:
Mark Madsen- It’s impossible to have any sports dancing list without him. He’s beyond awful, but that’s what makes his style so alluring. Here are his moves during the Laker’s victory parade. Mad Dog cutting a rug.

Ray Lewis- His pregame ritual is awesome and inspiring. No one in football bring cohesion between the team and the fans like he does through his dance. Ray Ray’s routine.
Al McGuire- How often does a middle-aged commentator get so excited during a post game celebration that he starts dancing and almost falls over? The “Cuse is in the house.
Merton Hanks- Even though Hanks looks like he’s going to snap his neck (and he got the idea from Sesame Street), this dance is still awesome and never duplicated. The chicken dance.
Chad Ochocinco Johnson- He’s more known for his goofy touchdown celebrations, but after this difficult maneuver, and his stint on Dancing with the Stars, Johnson’s rep for being a good dancer is spreading. Ocho’s river-dance.
Rasheed Wallace- Whether it’s a hoedown, the Carlton dance, or one of Motown’s finest, Wallace always gets the arena in a frenzy. Sheed killing it here and here.
Billy White Shoes Johnson- He has one of the best nicknames, and is one of the best entertainers the NFL has ever seen. Johnson mastered the punt/kick return, and the touchdown celebration. Johnson’s funky chicken.
Lebron James- He’s arguably the best basketball player in the world, and he’s undoubtedly one of the NBA’s most celebrated dancers. King James grooves during the game and during timeouts.
John Wall- He may not win rookie of the year, but Wall’s dancing feats have gotten him national acclaim. JW’s pregame “Dougie.”
Terrell Owens- TO has produced a bevy of unforgettable moments, including dancing with cheerleaders, the sharpie, and celebrating on the Dallas star. Two of his best dances were the mime routine and mimicking Ray Lewis’ dance.
Shaquille O’neal- He’s won 4 NBA championships and an MVP award, but he’s never been on Dancing with the Stars. That doesn’t stop Shaq from being sports’ best dancer. No other 7-foot, 300 pound guy can move quite like he can. He can hang with professionals, and he can torch the youngsters.
